The Partners of Care Project Conducted the Second Management Meeting in Ramallah in November 2022
With the participation of the twelve partners in the EU Erasmus project” Enhancing Early Childhood Education and Care in Palestine” (CARE) either in person or via Zoom, Al- Quds Open University hosted the second Management meeting in its premises in Ramallah for two days, while the third day was a field visit to Nablus City, where there was a specific program at both Quds Open University/Nablus Branch and at Rawdah University College from 7-9, November 2022.
On Monday, the 7th Of November 2022; the management meeting started with an opening session which included a welcoming speech by the Vice Presidents of Al-Quds Open University and an introduction about the project by Ms. Bayan Shobaki the Project Coordinator at AQU. Afterward, Dr. Maria Ampertzaki from the University of Crete; the lead of Work package 1 presented the results of the Preparatory Work Package1.
In the second session, Ms. Samar Abu Shamat; the director of Work package 2 gave a two-part presentation showing the implemented activities of the project from March 2022 to November 2022 in the first part, while the second part pertained to the planned upcoming activities.
The activities of the second day focused on the training that took place in the partner institutions from the EU. Dr. Elizabetta from PIXEL; the manager of Work package three which is led by Pixel; showed the achievements of the Quality WP since the first meeting in Crete and discussed the recommendations for improvements.
In the second session, a detailed presentation was delivered by Mr. Yaser Salha the manager of work package 4 which is led by Al-Aqsa University. The presentation demonstrated the dissemination and exploitation focusing on the achievements since the last management meeting with respect to developing the website of the CARE project. He also discussed the promotional campaigns which aim to raise the awareness of the community about the importance of the Childhood sector in Palestine.
At the end of the second day, Bayan Shobaki, the Project Coordinator at the AOU and the leader of work package five demonstrated a presentation on the management process and the recent updates.
