Pixel is an international education and training institution with over 20 years of experience in international cooperation and project management. Established in Florence (Italy) in January 1999, Pixel obtained quality certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001. Pixel is also accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education.12 people work as full-time staff and over 100 external experts and trainers cooperate with Pixel.

In the past 22 years Pixel successfully coordinated and managed over 130 European projects. The European programmes that funded the projects in which Pixel was involved are: Erasmus+ (KA2 Strategic Partnerships, Knowledge Alliances, and Capacity Building), Lifelong Learning, eLearning, Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates Minerva, Socrates Grundtvig, Socrates Lingua, Socrates ODL, Justice, and Safer Internet.

Pixel organizes and delivers international in-service training courses on different topics such as European cooperation, new technologies for education, innovative educational methodologies, language learning etc. Some of these courses have been delivered in over 50 editions so far. An average of 300 participants, from all over the world, attends Pixel international courses every year. Since 2011, Pixel also organizes the international Master on European Project Planning and Management that has now reached its 10th edition.

Biblography
Elisabetta Delle Donne is the president and managing director of Pixel. Elisabetta graduated in Political Sciences – International Affairs from the University of Florence in 1993. Since then, for the last 28 years, she has constantly been working in the field of international cooperation. From 1993 to 1998 she worked as European project manager in a regional consortium of higher education institutions. In January 1999 she created Pixel and since then she has been its president and managing director. Elisabetta is an expert in the planning and management of European projects focusing in particular on the areas of education, culture and research. For over twenty years she has been consulting several European universities and public bodies on accessing European funding opportunities and on European project management. Currently advising fifteen different universities throughout Europe. So far, she has been involved as a project planner and manager in more than 130 projects funded by the European Commission. Elisabetta is also an assessor of European project proposals submitted in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Programme, Erasmus+ Youth, COST, Horizon 2020 - Copernicus. Elisabetta is also the coordinator of the organizational and scientific committees of three international conferences in the field of higher education organized by Pixel every year. Elisabetta is a trainer in the field of "European Project Planning and Management” in international seminars at higher education level. Recent publications:

Matteo Agati After a bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 2018, Matteo Agati graduated with a master's degree in Logic, Philosophy and History of Science in 2020, both accomplished with full marks at the University of Florence. In addition to the specific knowledge that he developed through these two-degree courses, throughout his academic career he developed important abilities and expertise, first of all relational, communicative and organizational. Matteo started working for Pixel as Assistant Project Manager after his master’s degree and at the moment he is managing 4 projects funded by the European Commission in the field of education and training. Matteo is also handling the administrative and financial management of the international projects in which Pixel is involved.

Andrea Peraldo Andrea Peraldo started working at Pixel as European Project Manager soon after his degree in Political Sciences - History Studies, in 1999. Andrea is in charge of the planning of European Projects funded by the European Commission. Andrea has planned more than 40 successful grant applications in the framework of different European funding programs. Andrea is also in charge of the administrative and financial management of the international projects in which Pixel is involved. Andrea coordinates the activities of the internal administrative office for the creation of financial reports and maintains contacts with the European project partners to support them in monitoring and reporting their expenditures according to European Commission’s program rules.

Antonio Giordano
Antonio obtained a bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Intermediation for the European Union at the University of Bari in 2006. Following this, he obtained the master’s degree in Foreign Languages for the International Cooperation at the University “G. D’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara in 2008. In 2009, he attended the European Public Relations MBA organized by Ateneo Impresa – Business School of Rome. From 2007 to 2008 Antonio worked as an Italian language assistant in France. From 2009 to 2011 he worked for an online press agency focusing on Italian people living abroad. From 2012 he has been working at Pixel as Assistant Project Manager. At Pixel Antonio is currently in charge of supporting the coordination of European projects in the fields of quality in language education, history of economic thought, justice, marketing. Antonio is also responsible for the organization of European Mobility Initiatives addressed to teachers, experts, students from all over Europe. The mobility initiatives he organized focused on vocational education and training, tourism and eno-gastronomy, adult education. Antonio is the tutor of the International master “European project planning and management”, which reached its third edition. Antonio maintains the contacts with all the trainers involved in the master course and provides support and information to the students involved. Antonio is also in charge of the organization of the international internships for the master students. Antonio is also a social media manager and edits the online contents of the Pixel website. Antonio is also in charge of the Pixel Facebook and Twitter pages as well as of the social media pages of some of the current European projects coordinated by Pixel.
